We signed our contract last Sunday - We already have our building permit, so they are starting to digging the foundation today. We should be blacked-in in 2 months. Not much to see, but here's the building site and the portalet:
Ok, so a portalet isn't the most exciting thing, but that's all we had as of Sunday morning!

Congratulations on PROGRESS!!! A port-o-let means those soon-to-be-on-sight construction workers won't be using your pristine bayou as a toilet and training your bevy of fish to enjoy new menu items. And it's cool they brought out a nice RED port-o-let, not the boring old green or blue variety. Ya'll must be special folks to rate a red one ;-)
Andy and I will be looking forward to watching the house go up. But the real pleasure will be sharing a glass of wine and a nice meal with ya'll in your new dining room overlooking the bayou as the sun goes down on a beautiful summer day next year when we come out for a visit. We're so excited for you as you realize your dream home. Ya'll have been through so much in the past few years and if any one deserves to have the home of their dreams, guys, it's you two!! Love ya!
